PROJECT OF THE WEEK - ANASTACIA

Date:
13/01/2020 to 17/01/2020

ANASTACIA (Advanced Networked Agents for Security and Trust Assessment in CPS/IOT Architectures) is a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation (R&I) programme under grant agreement no. 731558 and form Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.

The main objective of the project is to address cyber-security concerns by researching, developing and demostrating a holistic solution enabling trust and security by-design for Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) based on IoT and Cloud architectures.

ANASTACIA developed a trustworthy-by-design security framework which will address all the phases of the ICT Systems Development Lifecycle (SDL) and will be able to take autonomous decisions through the use of new networking technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) and intelligent and dynamic security enforcement and monitoring methodologies and toolssuch as:  (details will be available on the Cyberwatching marketplace soon)

  • Security-by-design
  • Software Defined Networks
  • Networking Function Virtualisation

The ANASTACIA cyber-security framework provides self-protection, self-healing and self-repair capabilities through novel enablers and components.

The framework will dynamically orchestrate and deploy security policies and actions that can be instantiated on local agents. Thus, security will be enforced in differnt kinds of devices and heterogeneous networks like IoT- or SDN/NFV - based networks.
